Sangeeta Sharda - Women's Health Physiotherapist
BPhysio, GradCert Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, GradCert Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy
Sangeeta is an experienced Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience. She has a strong background in treating a wide range of general physiotherapy conditions, including neck and back pain, joint and muscle injuries, and sports-related conditions across all age groups.
In 2011, Sangeeta completed her Graduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia. Early in her career, she recognised that pelvic health was often overlooked in traditional physiotherapy, which inspired her to pursue further training in this specialised area. Her personal experience with pregnancy and childbirth further deepened her understanding of the postpartum body and strengthened her passion for women’s health.
In 2022, Sangeeta completed a Postgraduate training program in Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. She now combines her strong musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation skills with specialised pelvic health expertise to support women through pregnancy, postnatal recovery, pelvic pain, and menopause.
Sangeeta is passionate about empowering her patients through education, personalised rehabilitation programs, and evidence-based care. She is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their recovery.
Outside of work, Sangeeta enjoys cooking, hosting friends at home, spending time with her young family, and playing badminton on weekends.
