Dr. Emilie Staehr
MBBS, FRACGP
Dr. Emilie Staehr graduated from The University of Adelaide in 2006, and gained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012, receiving the AOGP Registrar Justin Beilby Medal in 2011. Her subspecialty interests include both Women’s Health and Psychological Medicine. She is pleased to offer Implanon and IUD insertion in-practice, having gained a certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health from SHine SA (2011). She has undertaken Level 2 Mental Health training to provide Medicare funded mental health counselling sessions to patients under a Mental Health Treatment Plan following Australian Society of Psychological Medicine FPS Skills Training (2016). She has further qualifications with the International Society of Schema Therapy: The Model, Methods and Techniques (2017) and Interpersonal Therapy Level A training by IPT institute (2022).
Dr Staehr welcomes you to book a longer appointment should you wish to discuss more than a single issue or if you are addressing issues in either of the above areas.
Dr Staehr also works across all aspects of general practice including children, of which she has three. She enjoys complementing her consulting work with services as a surgical assistant and relieving at The Adelaide Clinic. She has previously been a clinical lecturer at Adelaide University and an examiner for the RACGP.

Dr. Jane Thompson -Haematologist
MBBS, MD, PhD
Dr Jane Thompson is an experienced clinical and laboratory haematologist who completed her training at The Royal Adelaide Hospital in Adelaide, The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital. She has extensive research experience having recently submitted her thesis for PhD supported by NHMRC in malignant haematology at SAHMRI. Prior to her PhD candidature, she undertook multiple research endeavors in anaemia, iron and multiple myeloma. Patient care is her passion and she is dedicated to offering the most up to date and personalised treatment options while considering her patients’ goals and best interests at all times. She has a particular interest in working up cases of complex anaemia to achieve the best patient outcomes but is committed to offering care in all areas of malignant and non-malignant haematology such as bleeding and clotting issues, obstetric haematology, neutropenia and other blood count concerns, thalassemia, MGUS, multiple myeloma, chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, lymphoma.
