Dr Ajay Chowdhry is an experienced General Practitioner with more than 21 years of experience caring for patients and families in Mildura. He enjoys providing ongoing, patient-centred care and takes the time to understand each patient’s individual needs, health concerns and circumstances.

Dr Chowdhry has broad experience across general practice. His clinical interests include skin checks and skin cancer medicine, minor skin procedures, women’s health, children’s health, chronic disease management, diabetes and metabolic health, weight management, mental health, sexual and reproductive health, sports medicine, acute injuries and musculoskeletal concerns. He has previously worked as a Visiting Medical Officer at Mildura Private Hospital and has experience in paediatrics, including work as a Senior Resident in Paediatrics at Mildura Base Public Hospital. He has also provided youth mental health and sexual health services through Headspace.

Dr Chowdhry speaks English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada, and has basic proficiency in Japanese. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and follows AFL, NRL and cricket.
