We’re Proud to Be an Accredited General Practice

We’re very pleased to share that Signal Health Tusmore has successfully achieved its first accreditation.
This is an important milestone for our practice and confirms that we meet the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) Standards for safety, quality and patient care.
Accreditation means our practice has been independently assessed against nationally recognised standards for Australian general practices. For our patients, it provides reassurance that we have appropriate systems in place to support safe and effective care.
As part of the accreditation process, independent assessors visited the practice to review our systems and processes, speak with our team and observe how the practice operates. This included areas such as:
Patient privacy and the management of health information
Infection prevention and control
Vaccine storage and handling
Staff training and ongoing professional development
Equipment maintenance and emergency preparedness
Patient feedback and continuous improvement
We’re incredibly proud of our practitioners, nurses and administration team, who have all contributed to this achievement. A great deal of work happens behind the scenes to ensure our practice operates safely and provides a high standard of care, and achieving accreditation reflects the commitment of our whole team.
