Flu Vaccine Clinics Now Available – Book Your Appointment

Flu season is approaching, and flu vaccine clinic bookings are now available at Signal Health Tusmore and Newton. Appointments are available for patients in Tusmore and surrounding Adelaide suburbs, with government-funded and private flu vaccines available.

Booking early can help secure an appointment time that suits you and your family.

Government-funded flu vaccines

Government-funded flu shots are available for eligible patients, including:

• People aged 65 years and over

• Children aged 6 months to under 5 years

• Pregnant women

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over

• People aged 6 months or over who have medical conditions that mean they have a higher risk of getting serious disease including:

  • Cardiac disease

  • Chronic respiratory conditions (such as severe asthma or COPD)

  • Immunocompromising conditions (including those caused by medications or medical treatments)

  • Haematological disorders

  • Chronic metabolic disorders (such as diabetes)

  • Chronic kidney disease

  • Chronic neurological conditions

  • Children aged 5–10 years receiving long-term aspirin therapy

Private Flu Vaccines - $15

If you are not eligible for the government-funded vaccine, you can still receive a private flu vaccine with us. If you are unsure whether you are eligible, please speak with your GP.

COVID Vaccinations Available Too

If you are eligible for a COVID vaccine and would like to receive one, we can administer it at the same time as your flu vaccine in our clinics. Please just let us know when you book your flu vaccine appointment.

Flu Vaccine Clinic Appointment Details

A few things to remember for your flu vaccine appointment:

• Your appointment is dedicated solely for the flu vaccine and does not cover other health concerns.

• Payment is required at the time of your appointment if you are having a private flu vaccine ($15 for the private flu vaccine).

• Please arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment.

• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us in advance so that other patients have the opportunity to book the appointment.

• All flu vaccine consultations in the Flu Vaccine Clinics are bulk-billed.
